Book Review: A Christmas Prayer

I requested "A Christmas Prayer" by Amy Parker from booksneeze.com because I am constantly trying to remind my daughter (and myself) that there is SO much more to Christmas than receiving gifts. I think this book does a fabulous job of telling the real story behind Christmas and encouraging us to be thankful for the gifts that God gave.

The artwork in this book was great and went well with what the story was saying. The story flows well and is straight to the point and not confusing for small children. I haven't read it to my children yet, as I'm saving it for closer to Christmas time, but I think that it will be a book that we will bring out around Christmas time for years to come. I would recommend it to anyone with children aged 1-5 who is looking for a wellwritten, beautifully illustrated way to communicate the real meaning of Christmas!

I received this book free from the publisher through the BookSneeze.com
book review bloggers program. I was not required to write a positive review. The opinions I have expressed are my own. I am disclosing this in accordance with the Federal Trade Commission’s 16 CFR, Part 255 : “Guides Concerning the Use of Endorsements and Testimonials in Advertising.”
