Vacation

I know it may seem as though I've already been on vacation this week because of the lack of posts, but we are actually leaving tomorrow. Hopefully when we return we will be able to figure out how to make the internet work properly on the computer, or just go ahead and buy a new one!

I'll try to pass some deals along while I'm away. My access to the internet will be limited though. Happy Easter everyone!!

Toy Story Deal at Target

Argh...computer still having issues. I'm threatening to drop it out of a second story window and then burn it in the driveway. It's making my life very difficult!!

Toy Story 1 & 2 were re-released on DVD & Blu-Ray today. If you have a previous copy of either one on VHS or DVD, you can go here to log in or sign up and enter the UPC and print a coupon for $10 off each when you upgrade to the new version. You can also print a $5/1 coupon for each movie here.

This week at Target, the DVDs are $22.99 each, but you save $10 instantly when you buy both. There is also a FREE toy Story 3 movie ticket in each. Exciting times at Meijer this morning...got some great deals!!

The main reason I posted this picture was to show that it is possible to buy a mix of healthy/unhealthy foods and still save money!

I actually got these for FREE because Meijer is doing their 10 for $10 get the 11th item free sale this week. Also got the Bagel Bites FREE because they are on sale for $1, and there is a $1/1 coupon here.

Busy week

Sorry about the lack of posts lately...I've been have some computer issues, and my in-laws are coming to visit this weekend, so I've been busy preparing for that.

Also, it's SO nice outside!! We've been taking loooong walks and enjoying the sun!

Adam and I are celebrating our 7th anniversary next week...and going out on Saturday night for the first time in a long time! He is surprising me, and has been giving me hints all week, but I can't figure out what it is. So excited!!

Meal Plan Monday

It's going to be an interesting week...L is having surgery tomorrow to remove a tube from her ear. They are supposed to fall out on their own, but for some reason this one decided to make her ear canal its home. It's just a minor surgery, but still stressful! I have no idea what her recovery will be like, so cooking/baking this week is going to be kept to a minimum.

Monday - Out (L can't eat breakfast tomorrow, so we are taking her to Sweet Tomatoes to hopefully fill her up good on dinner so she won't be starving like she usually is in the morning!!)

Tuesday - Birds Eye Voila Frozen Meal (Beef Lo Mein) & Egg Rolls

Wednesday - Chili Mac & Corn

Thursday - Mini Meatloaves & Scalloped Potatoes

Friday - Tilapia Fish Tacos

Usually, you're only able to print two of a coupon, but this link let me print FIVE! I may have even been able to keep going, but I stopped because we don't need too much of a good thing!

Spring Cleaning

I'm sorry if you are finding fewer than usual posts lately...I've been trying to work on my spring house cleaning. I was excited about it when I started, but it's taking FOREVER!! A word of wisdom: Clean your oven more often than every two years. So embarrassing. Mind you, I consider myself to be a tidy cook, so there were very few spills in it, but I had to use oven cleaner on it twice. Hopefully I'll finish the kitchen tomorrow and then on to the living room!

Almost Free Frappuccino!

Remember a few weeks ago when I let you know about the $1/1 Starbucks Frappuccino coupon, with the promise that they often go on sale at Walgreens?

Well, it has happened!! In this week's Walgreens ad, there is an in-ad coupon for Starbucks Frappuccino 9.5oz for $4/5 or $1.25. I printed two of the $1/1 coupons a few weeks ago, and I was able to print two more today!! If you are able to use the in-ad coupon, as well as the 4 $1/1 coupons, you should be able to get 4 bottles for $1 or $0.25 each!
