February Grocery Budget

Well, for the first time ever, I'm actually close to my monthly grocery budget goal of $200! I actually ended up spending $211.57. I'm excited to be so close to meeting my goal! This month will probably be a bit more of a challenge because I'm forseeing a very busy month, with visitors and such, but I'm going to try my hardest to come in under budget! We head to Canada on 27th, so there are 5 days at the end of the month that I won't need food for. :)

Kid Freebies

I'm hoping that this will become a regular part of my blog...e-clubs and such that reward kids with free stuff! Here are a few to start you off!! Updated 3/12.

Baskin-Robbins - Sign up to get free 2.5 oz scoop of icecream on your birthday!

Max & Erma's - Kids eat FREE on Tuesdays night with a paying adult!

Moe's Southwest Grill - Sign up for the birthday club to receive a coupon for a free kid's meal during the week of your child's birthday!

We're nearing the end of the month, so there is a good chance that some coupons will be dissapearing...and new ones will be appearing soon! Here are some that I suggest printing before they are gone!!

$1/1 Smuckers Uncrustables (These retail for $2 at Walmart, so with coupon, you can get them for $1!)

$1/1 Del Monte Fruit Chillers (These are supposedly on sale at Target for $1.83, making them $0.83 after coupon!)

$1/1 & $0.75/1 Special K Fruit Crisps (L LOVES these! On sale for $2.50 at Target. If you buy 5 selected boxes of these at Target right now, you can get a $5 gift card. Thanks Totally Target!

$1/1 Starkist Tuna On sale at Target for $1.04, makes it almost free! Thanks Couponing to Disney!

Target Printables - Could make for a great deal when you combine a Target store coupon with a manufacturer's coupon! These will probably dissapear on Saturday, but the actual coupons don't expire until 3/21, so print now!!

Free Food Friday

Can't believe it's Friday again...where do the weeks go? I have a sick child...yet again, so we'll be stuck at home most of the weekend. Hope you're able to go pick up some freebies though!!

Steak n Shake - Kid's eat free all weekend!

Auntie Anne's Pretzels - Sign up for "pretzel perks" and receive a coupon for a free pretzel every month! Thanks to Couponing to Disney for the heads up on this one!

UP - Sale & Rebate

Best Buy has UP on Blu-ray this week for $16.99! This is a better price for the blu-ray than you will find a lot of places for just the dvd! There are two mail-in rebates available when you buy this DVD:

$5 rebate when you purchase UP Blu-ray combo pack or DVD & 2 bags of Birds Eye Voila! meals. (These meals are on sale at Meijer this week for 2/$7.)

$5 rebate when you purchase UP and any 2 participating Kernel Season's products

You should be able to submit each of these, as they both only require photocopies of the receipt and the UP dvd should have two proof of purchase tabs. You'll have to hurry though...all items must be purchased by 2/28 and postmarked by 3/31.
